My Review

We have traveled to Greece for 10 years after Nov 1st because the prices are lower and the weather is still warm. Many of the stores in Old Town were closed but the tourist attractions were open and lucky us, a cruise ship docked one day and every shop opened up. There is a lot to see and shop owners were happy to visit because they were not so busy. We feel we get to know many people by taking our time and chatting. Lindos was totally closed but a nice drive. We have traveled to several islands and enjoy the lack of crowds and seeing people we met on our last trip.

Where I stayed

Hotel Aramis - walking distance to Old Town and beautiful view. Understand it had been redecorated before we stayed there.

Places I visited

Old Town, lindos Rodos Gold museum Casino shops in town fun place to spend a few days

What I'd Do Again

Old town and Rodos Gold(I am a shopper!)

What I'd Skip Next Time

Plan to stay 3 or 4 days. Don't go when there are lot of cruise ships in harbor! Area is way too small for so many people.

My Best Tip for another traveler is..

Water is still warm enough for swimming and there are showers on the beach to rinse off sand.

And I'd also like to say...

Kos to the north of Rodos is a quick trip by ferry and is interesting. Lots of old relics and you can take a ferry for a day trip to Turkey. Bodrum has lots of shopping (mostly knock-offs) and is fun for a day trip.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes
