During Navy Week in June, Volos re-enacts the tale of Jason and the Argonauts in a vivid festival.

Don't Miss Seeing in Volos:
The Athanasskerion Museum, with an extensive collection of objects beginning with Neolithic finds and going through the Bronze Age and Golden Age of Greece.
Nearby, you can also visit the Ancient City of Pherai which boasts a pond with artifacts visible below the surface. Summer visiting hours are extended until 7pm.
Finally, the Pelion Train operates near Volos and offers visitors the chance to see some beautiful scenery from the perspective of an old-fashioned train.
