These five-day courses are offered in the late spring and early fall. Prices are for the courses only - travel, food, and lodging are extra but the organizers will find you rooms and help you plan your travel to Loutro. Most of the available rooms in Loutro are in small pensions. Workshops are in English and most of the instructors are British or American.
Creative privacy is respected - the number of participants is limited, and the organizers scatter the rooms throughout the village, so the only laptop you're likely to see nearby will be your own.
In Fall 2005, four courses are offered, with additional courses to follow in Spring and Fall 2006.
9/21 - 9/25 "Rise and Shine" Poetry workshop with Linda Chase
9/21 - 9/25 "Listening to the Voice" - Writing with Jemma Kennedy
9/28 - 10/02 "The Poem in 2005" Poetry workshop with Peter Samson
9/28 - 10/02 "Women and Men - Characterization and relationship in contemporary fiction" - Writing workshop with Crysse Morrison
The instruction fee for each five-day course segment is 200 pounds; check this currency converter to find out what that is in Euros or dollars at the moment. They advise about 60 Euros a day for lodging and food.
