The new cabinet ministers listed below are expected to serve until the time that general elections are called, originally expected to be in February, 2012. The elections are now expected for May 2012, at which time most or all of these names will change. The ministers come from the major political parties of Greece, unlike a "standard" government cabinet which is usually made up of ministers selected from the winning party... though most of them are from the biggest parties, PASOK and ND (New Democracy). The President of Greece, Karolos Papoulias, remains in office.
