The Bottom Line
Reopening in Summer 2007, this new entry into the "boutique" hotel category is looking to upgrade your Mykonos experience.
Pros
- Completely refurbished, promising "grace" in every detail.
- Outside of busy Chora (Mykonos Town) at Agios Stefanos beach
- Beautiful sea views
- "Superior" doubles include private hot tubs.
Cons
- Minimalist, modernist furnishings in rooms may be too plain for some.
Description
- Their website offers special discounts, including free nights or dinners.
- A small spa facility is also on the premises.
- Maybe the "Grace" theme goes a little far with the "State of Grace" restaurant and the "With Good Grace" gym.
- Rates start at about 240 - but compare online booking sites for the best rates. Expect good discounts in 2007 at least.
Guide Review - Mykonos Grace Hotel
The Mykonos Grace is slated to open in the summer of 2007, a complete refurbishment of the old Kastro hotel. Its location at Agios Stefanos beach outside of vibrant Mykonos Town itself is a great plus, yet it is only a few minutes away by car when you feel like going out and dancing all night. The Mykonos Grace understands that - they serve breakfast all day to accommodate the irregular waking habits of their guests.
