New Democracy Party

Definition: ND stands for the New Democracy political party of Greece, or Nea Dimokratia in Greek. New Democracy, under the leadership of Costas Karamanlis, came into power in Greece in the elections of 2003. They were ousted by PASOK in snap elections called by New Democracy on October 4th, 2009.
