Reader S.W. writes to tell of the "one of the finest lagers I've ever had, and I've had my fair share" - a beer called Creta Beauty. This is a new one and apparently is only served at Charlie's Bar in Mallia. Local foreign workers have actually formed an "appreciation society" for the brew.

Unfortunately, despite its name, there is no evidence, anecdotal or otherwise, that those who drink it will become more beautiful. However, it is possible that others seen by the drinker may appear more attractive.
