The Athens or Hellenic Festival, including the Epidaurus Festival have in the past continued through mid-September, but this year a shorter schedule has limited performances. We'll see what 2010 brings. The evenings, while still pleasant, may be a bit chilly so if you do go for an event, bundle up for any outdoor theater productions. (Taking an extra cushion is never a bad idea, either - ancient marble can be hard!)
If there are performances, you may be able to take a dinner cruise to Athens from Epidaurus, a unique way of making a special evening even more memorable.
