Looking for an easy-access hotel in Greece? The new Eria Resort at Maleme outside the city of Chania on the island of Crete offers rooms that have been built with easy handicapped access in mind from the planning stages forward. The result is one of the few truly accessible hotels in Greece.

The amenities include larger bathrooms, beds with hoist bars, a gym with modified equipment, room service until midnight, and an extensive list of rentable equipment. First-floor rooms circle the swimming pool, which is also equipped for with a ramp for handicapped access.

A wheelchair-modified shuttle can pick up and drop off guests at the nearby Chania airport.

Rates range from 120 Euro a night for a double room to 210 a night for a suite accommodating up to four persons.
