Openseas compares all available destinations and ferry lines throughout Greece, then provides links to travel agents who can book these routes for you. Forthnet is a major internet service provider in Greece.
Destinations in Greece Openseas claims to cover all the islands and destinations for Greece and the neighboring Adriatic Sea. My check has yet to show any holes in their coverage, unlike some similar services that actually only check the schedules of their partners.
They also have this service for mobile phones but I haven't tested this yet in Greece.
Tips
- Routes departing within five days usually are not shown. The reason given is that there will not be time to book in advance and receive tickets. This is unfortunate since the schedule information would be useful to many users.
- While they list a number of travel agents, other travel agents or ticket offices may also be able to provide tickets.
- One test returned code gibberish and a message to try again later; hitting "reload page" on my browser bar cleared up the problem.
- One test, for a route departing on 12/28, gave an arrival time as 00:00 12/18 - ten days earlier. Double check at the time of booking.
