Agrimi Goat at Old Samaria

An agrimi goat at the abandoned village of Samaria in the Samaria Gorge.

Some younger agrimi allow themselves to be hand-fed by the Samaria Gorge workers, but they're still skittish. This one is making a quick exit.

While the village is abandoned after the forced relocation of the inhabitants when the area was declared a protected national park, it is the base of operations for Gorge staff. The doctor is stationed here, and there is also a trail register to sign if you want to leave a trace of your trip through the Gorge.
