The Kalo-Kairi offers four furnished apartments in a secluded location in Eastern Crete. The freedom-loving Minoans lasted longest in the remote recesses of Eastern Crete, which may be why this villa seems so well-placed. The complex features a swimming pool and is family run. The nearest large town - small city by Cretan standards - is Sitia, which offers an excellent museum and ferry service.
The four apartments sleep up to four adults each, and include a kitchen and other amenities.
The name "Kalo-kairi" comes from kalokairi, the Greek word for summer. The fictional island in "Mamma Mia!" is also called Kalokairi.
