Archaeological Site of Sesklo

Looking for really ancient Greece? If you're traveling on the Volos-Larissa road, keep an eye out for the neolithic settlement of Sesklo about ten miles outside of Volos.

This large, important site was crucial to defining the chronology of Greek pottery and was inhabited for at least three thousand years.
