Filaki Beach, Crete
July 2004

By , About.com Guide

Reached by a road at the left of the entrance to the nudist-friendly Hotel Vritomartis, Filaki Beach is open to everyone. Though the beach itself feels remote, it is reached by a good if curvy road. Once you're on the south coast of Crete, you are within relatively easy access of a number of other nude-friendly beaches.

I.P., a recent visitor to Filaki, points out that there is a taverna which is almost totally nude, and that many of the visitors to the beach walk all the way back to their cars at the parking lot before bothering to dress. You can't get much more naturist-friendly than this.
