The athletic events are free to attend. You will need tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. These can be obtained through www.ticketnet.gr

Many of the special structures built for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games will be used during the events.

Athens also hosted the 2004 Paralympic Games after the Summer Olympic Games finished.
