Another Flame Lights Greece

There's another Olympic torch blazing through Greece - it's the flame being carried to inaugurate the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games.

Starting on September 9th in the Thission area of Athens, this Olympic flame will be carried through 54 different towns in Greece before arriving at the Panathenaic Stadium where it will signal the start of the Paralympic Games on September 17th.

Traveler's Delight - End of Day celebrations

At the end of each day, special celebrations are arranged for the towns where the Torch will "sleep". If you're in or near these towns, take advantage of these fun celebrations which generally include music, dance, and other special presentations.

Friday, Sept. 10th Vouliagmeni
Saturday, Sept. 11th Lavreotiki
Sunday, Sept. 12th Spata
Monday, Sept. 13th Marathonas (Marathon)
Tuesday, Sept. 14th Acharnes
Wednesday, Sept. 15th Megara
Thursday, Sept. 16th Piraeus
