Question: Should I visit Athens first or last on my trip to Greece?
Answer: Get to the islands. After a week or so relaxing, you can come back to Athens, be in a convenient place for your flight back out, and at that point, the energy of the capital and its necessary sightseeing will be easier to handle than when you first arrive, tired and jet-lagged.
