Jeanne Bresciani and the Isadora Duncan International Institute, who put on an amazing show as part of the Delphic Games a few years ago, are returning to Greece with a new performance called "Apollo and the Muses". It features Dimitri Vassilakis, Mary DiSanto Rose, and guest artists Cynthia Word and Ingrid Zimmer.

Bresciani promises that the evening will be a "melos" (not to be confused with "Milos", a Greek island) of music, dance, and poetry allowing the God of Music to mingle with the Divine in Motion.

Travelers in Greece will have three chances to catch the performance, each one in a location well worth visiting on its own - in Athens, at Delphi, and at the Temple of Artemis at Vravrona. One can't help but think that the company's namesake inspiration, Isadora Duncan, who was fond of ancient goddesses herself, would approve.
