Located on the northern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, the ancient city of Corinth, its museum, the high acropolis behind it, and the Corinth Canal are all worth a visit. While it attracts a fair share of tour buses, many of them don't bother to stop and devote their time in the area to the Corinth Canal. Lovers of ancient architecture won't want to miss Corinth itself. For the intrepid, driving up to Acrocorinth and hiking through the remains of the high place of Aphrodite and along the Venetian-era walls will give great views and wonderful picture opportunities.
