Christmas Carousel

Each year, the City of Athens sponsors a Greek Christmas display in Syntagma Square. Every year it has a different theme, but the carousel was a popular attraction for several years. A Christmas tree chosen from the Greek forests also adorns the square. In the neighboring National Gardens, displays and events suitable for children take over the small urban forest surrounding the Zappeion Hall.
