It's that time again when Greece for Visitors readers from all over the world join together to help find an elusive item for a desperate seeker. The lesson? Buy that souvenir when you first see it! You've come through in the past on mermaid dolls, tippy Hippocratic cups, and snowglobes showing the Acropolis. Can we do it again?
This Greek Quest is for more of a favorite perfume, brought by a friend from an unknown seller somewhere in Athens. The ceramic container holds both perfume oil on top and a solid balm-type perfume below. It arrived in a small brown and gold box, labelled "Venus - Ceramics with Perfumes". (Yes, technically, in Greece it should be Aphrodite, rather than Venus, but that's what it says.) Z.V. is looking for more of the perfume and doesn't particularly care if the ceramic container is included.

Anyone know where this exists? Do you have half a bottle and want to share the scent? Let me know at gogreece.guide@about.com.

UPDATE: Two possible sources have emerged, one in Spain, one in the United States. J. Morales works at Terramitica Park in Spain, which has a Greek market area that carries the perfume. His email is JMorales@TERRAMITICAPARK.com. To check out the park itself, which looks like fun, stop by their website.
The second potential source is in the United States:

Thanks to Nell and Javier for the information.
Reader Gerry also has this suggestion:
Venus perfumes incorporate several fragrances. They have a "tag" telling
what fragrance it is. If the gal no longer has that, she can do several things:
Get on Ebay, [search on] greek perfume, porcelain jars, greece perfume.
Those bottles are often up for auction there. Sometimes they list what
fragrance is in the bottle....if known. Caution: Even if the same style
bottle as she has is up for auction, it may not be the same fragrance.
They use the same bottle style and fill with various fragrances...the
bottle is just the "container" for it.
I collect those bottles and here are some of the fragrances; she can
then check for just those fragrances at a local store to see if any are
the ones she seeks and just buy it that way.
