Deluxe line Crystal Cruises is offering a new short 6-day cruise to Greece on September 25th, 2002 on the gorgeous Crystal Symphony. The trip originates in Venice, visits Dubrovnik and Corfu, and then disembarks in Athens. Passengers have the option of beginning the cruise a week earlier, on September 18th, in Rome. The company also offers an add-on for Greece which includes a stay at the upscale Athenaeum Inter-Continental and a five-night extended land program which explores the best of Athens' archaeological sites, then shifts north for two nights in Thessaloniki, with opportunities to visit Mt. Olympus and Pella, and then it's on to the famous rock-clinging monasteries of Meteora, with a final stop at the breathtaking ancient ruins of the Temple of Apollo at the mountain village of Delphi. The cruises start at special-offer rates of $2045 per person. The line also offers a number of other itineraries ending in Athens. For more information, check the Crystal Cruises website.
