United States airline security screeners are reporting that travelers are still bringing scissors, knives, and other sharp objects in their carry-on luggage. But one of the biggest offenders? None other than the Greek god, Apollo.

Standing out in a list of repeatedly confiscated items such nail scissors, screwdrivers, and razor blades is a metal wall plaque featuring the solar god. The problem? This metal representation includes a rayed headdress which is detachable. Security screeners say that this piece could be removed by the passenger while on the plane and, theoretically, could be used as a blade or as a kind of kung fu-style throwing star.

But this could be a great opportunity in disguise for souvenir hunters who missed their chance to buy one in Greece - the government plans to auction on eBay many items confiscated by airline security. Keep an eye out for Apollo!
