How to Get To Vravrona (Brauron):
Vravrona (or Brauron or Vraona ) is located about 35 kilometers from Athens, near the coast, about six miles from the evocatively named village of Markopoulo. The site can be reached by telephone at 0299 27020 in Greece; the site is usually open Thursday through Sunday, with additional open hours during the summer; the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. As with many archaeological sites, they close early at about 3pm.
Some tour companies can arrange a trip, or hire a car and driver for the day.
