Brochures for Greek Travel
Every week the Greece for Visitors mailbox is filled with requests for printed information on Greece and Greek travel. This is something that's beyond my resources to provide, but, fortunately, there are great sources for all the Greece material any traveler could want - and best of all, it's free. Here are a few of my favorites:
Best Free Booklets from the GNTO
The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) maintains offices in many countries. A phone call or email is all it takes to receive pamphlets and maps. Tip: be as specific as possible. They have literally hundreds to choose from, so asking for "all the infomation you have" will result in a random selection. But if you say that you're visiting the Peloponnese, Delphi, and Mykonos, you'll generally receive more pertinent information tailored to your request. The Athens map is usually included, and it's a good, detailed one which goes beyond the basic tourist details.
