For most of us, the words "yoga" and "adventure" are not usually combined in one sentence. That's part of what makes this new trip from The Northwest Passage tempting.

Set in the beautiful southwestern coastal area of Crete, participants receive yoga instruction from well-known master teacher Suddha Weixler and instruction in kayaking from The Northwest Passage's experienced guides. There is also a guided adventure hike down the 11-mile Samaria Gorge, the longest gorge in Europe and one of Crete's most thrilling landscapes.

While this is undeniably a trip that relaxes and challenges the mind, body, and spirit, pure hedonists need not worry. Participants enjoy comfortable seaside lodging in charming small hotels, lots of opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and browsing village shops, and delicious food and drink at carefully-chosen tavernas.

There are a few slots left for the October 6th-13th trip, and procrastinators can rejoice: the price has been slashed from USD $2495 to $1995. Airfare is not included; all breakfasts and most dinners are included, along with lodging, transportation within Crete, and all instruction.
