Rockwave's energetic presentation attracts masses of young Greeks and visitors who descend on the festival in search of a great time, and they succeed in finding it.
In 2009, the RW festival runs from June 27th through June 30th. It's usually in July, so note the change. It used to be divided up into "theme" days but I haven't seen any info on that this year.

Rockwave Metal Day - July 9th, 2008
Once again, The Rockwave Festival is at Terra Vibe, an event area with a capacity of 15,000 located near the 37th kilometer of the Athens-Lamia national road by the Malakasa interchange.
Announced headliners include Judas Priest, Calavera Conspiracy, and Within Temptation.
General Admission tickets for Rockwave in 2009 are 165 Euro for a four-day ticket. Single-day and two-day tickets are also available.

Vistors to the Rockwave Festival can reach the site by train from Athens and they also schedule special buses during major events.
