Gate 1 Sale for Greece Cruise and Land Combo

Gate 1 Travel is offering a promotional discount on its trips to Greece. If you book by February 6th, you'll save $110 of the regular listed prices. Starting at $2199, including airfare, you'll enjoy an 11-day trip which covers several Greek islands on a 3-day cruise experience plus bus travel to iconic destinations such as Delphi, Olympia, and Meteora. While bus tours are not everyone's cup of tea, this is a decent starting price for a trip which will give you a good introduction to Greece and the Greek islands; price varies depending on the departure dates.

The cruise is a quick one, and only offers a couple of extra-fee shore excursions, both during the Mykonos stop. For my money, I'd choose the Delos island excursion over the walking tour of Mykonos, since the latter you can easily manage by yourself if you wish. Note the phrasing - that three-day cruise is included in the 11-day total, not in addition to it. Gate 1 also counts your travel days, which is acceptable since the airfare is included as part of the trip, but my personal philosophy is that flight days are never quite the same thing as a true vacation day.
