The Greek island of Spetses is the site of a royal Greek wedding as the former prince of Greece, Nicholas, marries his longtime girlfriend Tatiana Blatnik.
Nicholas is the son of the last King of Greece, Constantine, whose family fled Greece in 1967. These days, Nicholas has no royal status in Greece - he no longer even has Greek citizenship. There are ongoing disputes over former royal property in Greece which are being pounded out in the European Union courts.
But there is no question about some of the royalty and high-octane celebrities expected to be in attendance, everyone from Nicholas' sister, Queen Sophia of Spain, the Queen Margrethe of Denmark, and "pop royalty", Elton John, who will perform at the event.
While access is tightly controlled, a pre-wedding event will be held at the palatial Poseidonion Grace Hotel, a popular wedding venue.
