Or at least that's one way of looking at the power outages which have struck the beautiful island near Athens. Apparently underwater power cables bringing power to Aegina suffered damage and this has resulted in numerous outages. Some businesses reportedly hauled out the oil lamps once used by their yia-yias (grandmothers) in an effort to keep the lights on. For honeymooning couples, that may actually have just added to the ambiance.
