The Greek Hollywood Reporter citing Espresso is noting that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have apparently purchased a house in Oia on the Greek island of Santorini.
This should come as no surprise - Jolie had the opportunity to get familiar with Santorini and much of Greece in her "Tomb Raiders - Cradle of Life" film, she portrayed Alexander's mother Olympia in "Alexander", and now she's preparing to play the Ptolemaic queen of queens in a new Cleopatra movie. And while Pitt's "Troy" was shot far from Greece (and Troy itself is now in modern Turkey), it must have stimulated his interest in Hellenic history.
Pitt and Jolie are certainly not the first couple to find or rekindle romance in Santorini - it remains the most popular Greek island for weddings and first- and second-honeymoons.<P>
