It may be the best show since the 2004 Athens Olympics extravaganza as all of Greece turns out for the opening of the New Acropolis Museum on Saturday, June 20th. Not in Greece? You can still share in the fun by watching it live on the web.

You can get the opening by going to YouTube and doing “search” on Acropolis Opening. However, I seem to have some trouble with that because the download is in segments, and I’m watching and it cuts out… anyway, looks good.
As usual, You Tube is ahead of the “official” Greek site — they can never get their acts together. Example: the Ministry of Culture site “upgraded” about 2 years ago, and now is MUCH less informative than previous version.
