H1N1 Flu - What's the Prediction for Greece?

Tuesday May 5, 2009
As of this writing, Greece has evaded the dreaded swine flu or H1N1. While the disease seems to be milder than feared, most authorities still expect the H1N1 flu to spread, and sooner or later Greece is bound to have a few H1N1 cases.

Should the threat of H1N1 stop you from traveling in Greece, or stop you consuming tasty pork souvlaki while you're there? No. If you're traveling from the United States, you're much more likely to get swine flu while you're still in the U.S. There is no evidence that you can get swine flu from eating pork.
