Time to Reposition Yourself in Greece

Sunday September 14, 2008
Feeling uncomfortable? It might be the right time to reposition yourself in Greece by taking a "repositioning" cruise from Greece to the Atlantic shores of Europe, or even across the Atlantic to the Caribbean or farther south. These cruises are offered as a way of getting ships from place to place, and since the boats have to be moved anyway, the prices are often fantastic.

The downside is that port calls may be fewer in number and there are usually extra days at sea, since the primary reason for the voyage is to get the vessel to its new home across the waters. It also can be one of the few times the truly flight-phobic can get a good deal on long-distance travel.
