Greek Cruise Ship Runs Aground; Hundreds Evacuated

A Greek cruise ship, the Georgis, has run aground off the Greek island of Poros. Hundreds of passengers have been successfully evacuated, despite high winds in the area.
The ship is one of several operated by the Hydraikis Naval Company, who provide popular three-island day cruises from Athens. It was built in Germany in 1997 and refurbished in 2005, according to the company website. More:
