Run Away in Greece

I always recommend running away to Greece - but there is a great way to run while in Greece. Just participate in the annual Athens Marathon. It recreates the ancient route from the Plain of Marathon and ends in a dramatic finish at the Panathenaic stadium built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. This year's event takes place in early November, when the temperatures, crowds, and prices are all at a near-perfect point.
