Sightseeing in the Peloponnese

Friday June 23, 2006
Lionesses of MycenaeThe Peloponnese Peninsula to the west of Athens and Attica holds some of Greece's best sightseeing destinations. It's a relatively easy drive from Athens, with a good loop road that can take you all the way around the peninsula.

Want to extend your wanderings into central Greece? Take the new Rio-Antirio Bridge tying together the Peloponnese with mainland Greece.
