Greece in October
Saturday October 1, 2005
Greece in October has something for everyone - weather that usually is still very good, low prices, an absence of crowds, and perfect temperatures for trudging around archaeological sites. While the tourist-oriented festivals and events are over, visitors can participate in truly local events like the Fishermen's Festival in Gythio in the Peloponnese and the Chestnut Festival in the ancient village of Elos on the island of Crete.
