Grasping Greek

Join me and other visitors to Greece in learning the fundamentals of the language. Pop by if you want to learn modern Greek? My favorite: a hundred-plus completely free Greek audio lessons that play in the background while you work on the computer. Why don't you join in?

At the least, learning to decode the letters of the Greek alphabet can make your trip go more smoothly. While most official roadsigns are in both Greek and English letters, other signs may not be. Being able to recognize a word or two in Greek - such as the names of your destinations - can save time and help you avoid potential mistakes.
