Top Ten "Unknown" Destinations

Occasionally, I get letters about what I've included or left out of the Top Ten Destinations in Greece - the "must-sees" for your first trip to Greece. But it's nothing like what I receive for my Top Ten "Unknown" Destinations" list.

What's included and what's omitted seems to stir up controversy on all sides, from innkeepers outraged that I consider their island "unknown", to readers begging me to keep their favorite hideaway a secret, to others claiming it's a wide-open "secret" at best and should be dropped from the list.

First time to Greece? Better find out before you go if you have what it takes to travel into the unknown in Greece.
